Nutraceuticals World - New Products, March 2008

The following new products were reported in Nutraceuticals World this month: (1) Tara Dairy Ltd. and LycoRed Ltd. have developed a new line of fortified dairy products targeting women 30-40 years old. The “YOU” line includes milk with 2 percent fat, personally packaged soft cheese (3 percent fat) and a yogurt drink. The products are fortified with a vitamin and mineral formulation providing 25 percent of the RDI that targets bone, brain, skin, heart health and digestive health; (2) Australia-based Boost Juice Bars has launched Pocket Rocket Juice, which contains 700mg of life’sDHA per serving, providing more than 100 percent of Australia’s suggested dietary intake of omega-3s.
